AWARD -WINNING ARCHITECT: RICK O'DONNELL

A CENTRAL TEXAS ARCHITECTURAL FIRM

Committed to excellence regardless of project size or scope, our work spans a variety of building types (new and remodel/additions) – from ranch cabins to garden homes to luxury upper-end custom residences, office buildings, recreation, community, wedding and event centers, private airport terminals, wine tasting facilities and veterinary clinics. Through each project we seek to uphold the best of time-proven building traditions while utilizing the principles of modern design and building methods, details and environmentally sensitive, sustainable “green-building” technologies.

We don’t label our work as a particular “style”, as each project is unique to its site and to the individual needs of our clients. We want our architecture to be individualistic, created as a unique, one-of-a-kind contemporary interpretation for our clients with a special emphasis on site and environmentally appropriate design, choice of quality materials and use of interesting, well-thought-out details. Our projects begin as a response to the site and are developed functionally and aesthetically based on the lifestyle requirements and programming needs of our clients. If we were to describe our architecture, we would call it “Regionalistic” in nature with its primary inspiration derived from early Texas shapes, forms, materials, and details recreated in a Contemporary urban context. Many of our projects also draw heavily upon the influences of Texas ranch and Texas “industrial”, Modern Farmhouse, Tuscan, Spanish Hacienda and Mediterranean architecture, all of which fit appropriately in our central Texas environment.

We believe that exceptional architecture exists because exceptional clients allow it to happen. We seek clients who have the vision to commit and the faith in an architect to pursue the vision through thoughtful design solutions. Our product is ultimately a combined expression of us and our client, but in the end it must be specific to the needs of the client and the climate and environment of the site.
